Frequently asked questions

Is it really free to start?

Yes. Joining Only Lesbians is free and messaging is free. There is no subscription, no paywall, and no credit card. There is no paid tier.

How long does the age check take?

A person reviews it. There is no fee, and you cannot pay to skip the queue. Until it is approved, other members' photos stay blurred and you cannot message.

Will other members see my ID?

No. Other members never see the document, and your legal name is not put on your profile.

Do I have to upload a photo?

You need one photo before search opens. It is reviewed by a person. A current photo of your face is enough. You do not need a professional set.

Can I change who can see me later?

Yes. You can pause your profile. Other members cannot find it or open it while it is paused, and you can still look. You can also choose not to appear to members in your own town. Women can look at profiles without a visit being announced.

Can a web search find my profile?

No. A profile on Only Lesbians is for members who are signed in. Searching the web does not open it.

Are messages private?

A conversation stays in the inbox. It is not shown on the profile. We may review a message when we are looking into abuse, fraud, or a scam. The site uses SSL/TLS.

Will this show on a bank statement?

No. Joining Only Lesbians is free and messaging is free. There is no subscription and no credit card.

What happens if I delete my account?

Your profile and the messages you sent are removed. Other members can no longer see them. Delete your photos and videos first, or deletion stops until they are gone. This cannot be undone.

Can I block someone?

Yes. Open their profile and press Block. They cannot find you, and you cannot open their profile. Report profile is separate, and they are not told that you reported them.

What should I do if I suspect a scam?

Stop replying. Press Report profile and Block. Say what they asked for. We review the report. They are not told who sent it.

Will my report be confidential?

The member is not told that you reported them. The report is reviewed so we can remove an account that breaks the rules.

Where do I report a problem?

Open their profile and press Report profile. They are not told that you reported them. A problem with the site itself goes through Report an issue, or the contact form.
