Empty café tables on a quiet stone street, with flowers in the window.

How the age check works

A free check. Until it is approved, other members’ photos stay blurred.

Verify your age.Open the age check

  1. Sign in and open Verify your age. You can also start it from Account, then Security, if it is not approved yet.
  2. The check is free. A person on our team reviews the ID. Other members never see it, and your legal name is not shown on your profile.
  3. Until it is approved, other members’ photos stay blurred, and you cannot message, like, flirt, or upload a video.
  4. Search stays closed until your email is confirmed, you have added a photo, and the age check is approved. You can still upload photos and update your profile.
